Jorge is a seasoned professional with over 17 years of experience across the pharmaceutical, biotech, and medtech sectors, specialising in Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR), market access, and pricing & reimbursement. His focus is on launching innovative products and shaping market access strategies in the complex and evolving European healthcare environment. He is experienced in value-based pricing and has a track record as an effective negotiator with HTA authorities.
Jorge has developed market access and reimbursement strategies for diagnostic and therapeutic technologies, including tests for TBI, Alzheimer’s disease, and soluble transferrin receptor, as well as medical devices including paclitaxel-coated balloons and stent systems.
Jorge is currently the Director of HEOR & Market Access at a Big4 consulting firm, leading critical initiatives that align market access and pricing strategies with client goals. He is also the founder of an AI-driven drug discovery and market access consulting business. Here, he heads a team committed to pioneering market access solutions and harnessing AI for drug development. Jorge’s rich academic background includes an MBA specializing in economics and he is a certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt.
